Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Trackley (“Trackley”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Trackley mobile app, websites, and related services (together, the “Service”). We keep it simple: we collect as little as we can, we use it only to run the Service for you, and we never sell it.
1. Information you give us
When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile details. When you use Trackley, we store the content you add — the goals, habits, check-ins, streaks, notes, and companion choices that make the Service work for you (“Your Content”).
2. Information we collect automatically
To keep the Service reliable and improve it, we collect limited technical data such as device type, app version, and basic usage and diagnostic information (for example, crash reports). Where required, we ask for your consent before collecting anything beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the Service.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
- save your progress and sync it across your devices and the people you choose to share goals with;
- respond to your messages and provide customer support;
- understand how the Service is used so we can fix issues and make it better;
- meet our legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting and analytics providers), bound by contracts that limit how they may use it; with other users when you choose to share a goal with them; and where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Trackley and its users.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it to comply with the law or resolve disputes.
6. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly if something goes wrong.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage much of your data directly in the app, and you can contact us at any time to exercise your rights. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.
8. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
9. International transfers
We may process and store your information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this Policy and applicable law.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know, such as by updating the date above or notifying you in the app. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Policy.
